A south coast cottage rental
Harbour View House, Dell Quay, Chichester
The Chichester Harbour area is one of my favourites on the south coast. We've been going for a few years, staying in the little villages of Itchenor, Bosham and West Wittering and we always visit the Crown & Anchor pub in Dell quay which is right on the water’s edge, with beautiful views (and sunsets) across the harbour. It’s in a tiny hamlet with just a few houses, but one of them is now a holiday rental. We booked Harbour View House for a weekend getaway with friends and it was just perfect. Beautifully decorated, with everything you could hope for in a holiday rental (well equipped kitchen with stylish crockery, glasses etc; lovely bedlinens; welcome gift basket; great garden; off street parking; dog treats etc). We walked, we kayaked in the harbour (there were jelly fish!!), we ate and drank in the garden, and swam in the sea at Selsey. A fabulous place to make beautiful memories.
