A lazy girl's guide to low effort, sexy food!
We couldn't resist this gorgeous new cook book when it landed on our desk: easy, tasty, simple, quick recipes from a lady we love. I mean, we're not all Nigella right?
From Lorraine: There’s 115 recipes in Susie Theodorou’s latest cook book and you barely cook any of them: it’s a delicious collection of meal ideas (with some great sauces and dressings) that saves you time and relieves you of the stress of spending ages in the kitchen when you’d rather be doing other things (drinking Martinis, listening to Wham!). It shows you how to layer things together but also how to use something like a rotisserie chicken for many different meals with different sides and sauces, it takes the thinking out of things. I loved her ‘Naturally Mediterranean” cook book and this one is just as good ( see all her books here ).
Susie Theodorou
is a food stylist and writer who divides her time between London and Los Angeles. She has worked on magazines, cookbooks, and commercials throughout her career, travelling all over the world. Born and raised in London, to Greek Cypriot parents, Susie grew up eating traditional Cypriot Mediterranean food and learned to cook from scratch (at a very young age), as that’s how it was done by her mother and aunts. She is the master at short-cuts in the kitchen and knows how to use fresh produce well. I first came across Susie’s recipes when one of my closest friends Nina, who was my deputy editor at Cosmo magazine, told me about her as they’d worked together in the past. Nina knew I wasn’t a Queen in the kitchen and needed as much help as I could get!! So if you’ve had a busy day with family or at work then we’re coming to your rescue with one of her new recipes, below, today.Keep reading with a 7-day free trial
