We’ve picked 10 titles each (and we have very different tastes) and tipped some new books coming your way. The best of 2024 (so far)

Leaving by Roxana Robinson
Possibly the best book you’ll read about relationships this year. Sarah and Warren’s college romance faltered when she mistakenly thought she couldn’t trust him, but when they bump into each four decades later they rekindle their romance. The only problem is, she’s divorced and he isn’t so, a passionate affair ensues. But will he really leave his wife and family for the woman he’s always truly loved? If you hadn’t heard of Robinson before (think Anne Tyler meets Anne Patchett), you’ll want to read all her work once you’ve finished this fantastic novel.  TH
